3D Abilities started the same way many great hobby businesses do, by wanting better parts for our own RC vehicles. What began as designing and improving components for personal builds slowly evolved into a dedicated online business serving RC enthusiasts across the country.
I’ve been designing for over 10 years, originally outside the RC space, before getting into the hobby about 6 years ago. That hands-on involvement changed the direction of my work and led me into deeper testing, refinement, and development specifically for RC platforms. In early 2023, I officially launched 3D Abilities and began releasing parts built from that real-world experience.
Today, 3D Abilities specializes in premium RC upgrades including GPM Racing aluminum components (3D Abilities is an authorized GPM Racing reseller -- one of a small number of officially recognized US sellers), precision carbon fiber parts, and custom 3D-printed products designed and produced in-house. Every product is either selected or created with performance, fitment accuracy, durability, and real-world value in mind.
